Fran Owens

Account Director

Fran Owens is a sociologist with Millward Brown Lansdowne.

Her main areas of focus are developing and enhancing standard qualitative research with thinking and experience from the worlds of Neuro -Linguistic Programming, Insight generation, New product Development, Creativity and Innovation. This provides clients with deep penetrating insights that are culturally and contextually astute and immediately useable.

Fran is also responsible for our workshop business. Through world class facilitation and innovation techniques she and her team guide our clients through the often tricky and risky terrain of new thinking. Implementing new approaches, working with top class brands, discovering new truths and taking research into innovation and implementation is what occupies most of her time.

Prior to Millward Brown Lansdowne, Fran worked for six years as a Partner in Innovation with Synectics, a leading innovation and creativity consultancy. Her extensive international experience allowed her real exposure to working across many different cultures and countries ( e.g. Europe, Vietnam, Thailand, Russia, China and South Africa).

Fran is a certified Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), holds two honours degrees, a BA and Masters in Sociology. Her interest in organisations, power and culture formed the research basis for her academic studies and has continued throughout her career.
