A business studies graduate of Trinity College, Richard completed his Masters in Marketing before working and travelling his way around the world for three years, particularly in Australia, North America and India. Back in Europe, Richard joined SmithKline Beecham in London as Strategic Brand Manager. With a passion for consumer behaviour, Richard moved full time into research with A. C. Nielsen, returning to Ireland and joining Lansdowne, which merged in July 2009 to form Millward Brown Lansdowne. Richard is past Chairperson of The Marketing Society of Ireland. He has worked extensively in corporate research, new product/service development, advertising effectiveness, customer satisfaction and minorities’ research. In the recent past, Richard has spent considerable timing working within the technology / telecommunications, FMCG, retail, financial and social sectors.
